Mini GPS with waypoints

This miniature GPS receiver and location finder displays geographic coordinates, velocity & altitude, digital clock, and features a distance and mileage recording function. But best of all, you can add up to 16 waypoints or POI's and enable the GoTo navigation function, which displays heading and distance to a waypoint or POI selected by you. Acquisition times are very quick in relation to other GPS receivers ensuring quick position information when switched on (~ 2 minutes as cold start and 5 seconds for a hot start).

All this comes in the size of a keychain, which can be easily put away in a pocket and with a battery life for approximately 5-10 operational hours, it is the best companion for hiking, GEO-caching and military operations where soldiers need to consider every ounce of equipment they take along.

Especially for military users we see extra benefit. Normally troops are fitted with just one handheld GPS receiver per squad, but now you can equip all men with one for a very cheap price, ensuring soldiers that get separated still have accurate means to navigate. Just put the rendezvous point into the GPS and you always have directions with you.

The display is good readable in full sunlight and can be set to illuminate for a user defined period in seconds, ensuring good readability also at night. It comes in black and green hard moulded ABS plastic which has a soft touch and isn't slippery. You can attached it to your belt or vest using the supplied keychain or any other keychain that may fit through the hole of the GPS casing.
